David A. Fuscus - President/CEO

David A. Fuscus is president and CEO of Xenophon Strategies, a highly focused public relations firm serving many of the world’s largest companies and organizations.

Fuscus has enjoyed a career in politics and communications, having previously served as the Chief Spokesman for the U.S. Airline Industry; Deputy Chief-of-Staff to former Pennsylvania Governor Tom Ridge; Director of Communications for the U.S. House of Representative’s Transportation Committee; Press Secretary to former Congressman Bill Clinger (PA) and as a top campaign aide to President George H.W. Bush.

Xenophon was founded in 2000 and has key practices in public affairs, public relations, reputation management, crisis communications and government affairs. The company is headquartered in Washington, D.C.

Mark Hazlin - Senior Vice President

Mark Hazlin is one of the senior leaders in Xenophon’s public relations practice, managing teams and ensuring the agency delivers results.

Prior to Xenophon, he worked as a journalist, writing stories on a broad range of topics for USA Today, Forbes.com, PRWeek, Orlando Sentinel, New York Resident and other local and national media outlets. During his career, he has represented Airbus, The Salvation Army, the Midwest ISO, Shell Oil Company, Texaco, WorldCom, JFK International Airport, Excite!, New York University, NBA Entertainment, Pepsi, Williams Sonoma and others. Mr. Hazlin earned a master’s degree in Journalism from New York University in 2004, and graduated from Boston College in 1996, with a bachelor’s degree in English and Political Science.

Jennifer June Lay - Vice President

Jennifer joined Xenophon Strategies in 2010 after spending eight years at a Nashville-based PR firm.

There she honed her skills in media relations, crisis communications, reputation management and integration of communications services for clients such as, Bridgestone Americas, Inc., Johnston & Murphy and Jack Daniel’s.

In addition, Ms. Lay strategized, planned and executed numerous, award-winning PR campaigns on a local, regional and national level for nonprofits, aviation and food industries.

As a vice president at Xenophon Strategies, Ms. Lay leads various account teams that provide planning and implementation of communications strategy, traditional and social media relations, and crisis communications. Her knowledge of the aviation industry has grown working with clients such as, ATR and Air Evac Lifeteam, she has continued her consumer PR expertise with Williams-Sonoma, Inc., and found a passion for the energy industry working with Midcontinent Independent System Operator.

Jennifer received her Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Information Sciences from the University of Alabama.

Bob Brady - Managing Director

As a Managing Director at Xenophon Strategies, Bob Brady provides communications counsel and support for a variety of clients, each with their own unique needs. This includes a diverse set of subject matter ranging from aviation and financial management to philanthropy and industry associations.

His clients have included: Airbus Americas, National Association of Railroad Passengers, the Pension Boards – United Church of Christ, The Salvation Army, the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans, and more. Mr. Brady’s responsibilities include proactive and reactive media relations, as well as issues management and crisis communications work. Mr. Brady has worked with numerous national media outlets and successfully placed stories in The New York Times, USA Today, Newsweek, the Associated Press, NBC News, NBC Today, CNN, MSNBC and elsewhere.
