The agency was established in 1999 and has since 2005 been under the direction of Rogério Artoni, an award winning PR executive who in 2016 and 2017 was listed by PRWeek in The Global Power Book among the 350 most influential PR professionals in the world.

Rogério Artoni - Executive Director

With over 20 years of practice in the communications field, Rogério Artoni’s career is intertwined with the history of Race Communications, an agency founded by him in 2005, with its first office officially inaugurated in Sao Paulo, Brazil, in 2008. He is currently Executive Director of the agency, which serves companies of various segments, and provides communication services ranging from press relations to press training (media training), from social media management to internal communications, among others.

He graduated from Journalism and has an MBA in corporate communications. In 2016 and 2017, Mr. Artoni was elected one of 350 most influential public relations professionals in the world, according to PRWeek magazine.

Managing international and national partnerships is also part of his work, since he seeks to expand the agency’s outreach in and out of Brazil, in addition to collaborating with more than 30 journalists, public relations, designers and advertising professionals that make up Race Communications’ team. 

Today, Race Communications is present in three Brazilian states: besides the headquarters in São Paulo (SP), it runs offices in Rio de Janeiro (RJ) and Goiania (GO).

 

Wilson Barros - Account Director

Wilson Barros graduated from the Universidade Metodista de São Paulo with a bachelor’s degree in Journalism, followed by an MBA in Market Management from the Fundação Getúlio Vargas. His career in corporate communications began over two decades ago, and since then he has worked at the most important PR agencies in Brazil, with clients from a wide range of fields, including entertainment, financial services, retail and the voluntary sector. 

To date, those clients have included Warner Bros., Globo TV International, Globo Filmes, Janssen Latin America, Boehringer Ingelheim, Bayer, TecBan, Ajinomoto do Brasil, Allianz Partners Brazil, Syngenta and Zurich do Brasil.
