Don\u2019t be surprised if you\u2019re asked to complete a writing assignment and strategy assessment as part of the interview process.<\/p>\n<p>The Account Manager will play an integral role in telling our clients\u2019 stories through traditional and digital channels.<\/p>\n<p><b>Here\u2019s the mix of what you\u2019ll be doing:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Serving as the day-to-day contact for assigned clients<\/li>\n<li>Media relations (trade, consumer and business media)<\/li>\n<li>Social media (Facebook, Twitter updates, blogger relations, and more)<\/li>\n<li>Media research (editorial calendars, speaking opportunities, media\/analyst list development)<\/li>\n<li>Writing (press releases, pitches, bylined articles and more)<\/li>\n<li>Event planning and execution (attending client events \u2013 travel may be required)<\/li>\n<li>Working closely with senior management to provide strategic direction and insight related to account activities<\/li>\n<li>Recommending and executing communications strategies that support client goals<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrating ownership to train and mentor interns and account coordinators<\/li>\n<li>Participating in new business activity, playing a significant role in providing research, brainstorming creative ideas and competently presenting in meetings<\/li>\n<li>Acting as a brand ambassador for REED, actively participating in networking opportunities to raise the agency\u2019s visibility in the Nashville area<\/li>\n<li>Cleaning out the refrigerator (we all take turns!)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Along with creativity, drive and self-motivation, your previous experience and attributes will include:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree or equivalent relevant business experience<\/li>\n<li><strong>At least three years of post-college PR agency experience<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Outstanding written and verbal communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work in a fast-moving, dynamic and team-oriented environment<\/li>\n<li>Enthusiasm for our clients and our work<\/li>\n<li>Client-focused with a proactive approach<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work with multiple clients simultaneously<\/li>\n<li>Fast learner with an inquisitive mind and eye for detail<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Why you\u2019ll want to work for us:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We like to have fun!
