PRGN Launches Health Practice Group to Meet Rising Global Demand for Health Communications

New group brings together more than 20 independent agencies across four continents, 11 languages and 93 health specialists

LONDON / NEW YORK / BRUSSELS – The Public Relations Global Network (PRGN) announced the launch of its Health Practice Group, bringing together more than 20 independent agencies across four continents to support health care, life sciences and pharma organizations facing fast-changing policy and communications needs.

The new group combines 11 languages and 93 health specialists across PRGN member agencies. It was formed in response to growing demand for joined-up international policy and communications support seen by PRGN agencies in markets around the world.

Health services face pressure from rising costs, artificial intelligence adoption, outpatient care, productivity and cybersecurity issues. At the same time, global pharma is being reshaped by AI-enabled research and development, obesity drugs, patent cliffs and supply-chain resilience, according to global sector analysis by Deloitte.

The PRGN Health Practice Group is led by OVID Health, a specialist health care public relations, public affairs and patient advocacy agency and PRGN member based in London. OVID CEO and Founder Jenny Ousbey will serve as leader of the practice group.

The group launched by bringing together member agencies from Europe, North America, Asia-Pacific and beyond. It will meet regularly to advance joint cross-border work and deliver programs for clients and patients.
