New group brings together more than 20 independent agencies across four continents, 11 languages and 93 health specialists
LONDON / NEW YORK / BRUSSELS – The Public Relations Global Network (PRGN) announced the launch of its Health Practice Group, bringing together more than 20 independent agencies across four continents to support health care, life sciences and pharma organizations facing fast-changing policy and communications needs.
The new group combines 11 languages and 93 health specialists across PRGN member agencies. It was formed in response to growing demand for joined-up international policy and communications support seen by PRGN agencies in markets around the world.
Health services face pressure from rising costs, artificial intelligence adoption, outpatient care, productivity and cybersecurity issues. At the same time, global pharma is being reshaped by AI-enabled research and development, obesity drugs, patent cliffs and supply-chain resilience, according to global sector analysis by Deloitte.

Frédéric François
“All of these challenges and opportunities have communications aspects from policy to product marketing, from internal to external communications and patient advocacy. With close to half of its member agencies having extensive expertise in health and pharma, PRGN is well positioned to serve local, regional and global players in their communications needs,” said Frédéric François, President of PRGN and managing partner of Two cents in Belgium and the Netherlands. “The new Health Practice Group has been created not only to put that expertise to use, but also to develop further as fellow agencies share their methods, ideas and resources to stay ahead in the race in this fast growing sector.”
The PRGN Health Practice Group is led by OVID Health, a specialist health care public relations, public affairs and patient advocacy agency and PRGN member based in London. OVID CEO and Founder Jenny Ousbey will serve as leader of the practice group.

Jenny Ousbey
“Healthcare organizations are increasingly facing complex global policy and communications challenges that cannot be addressed in isolation. The PRGN Health Practice Group brings together deep local expertise with a global mentality, enabling us to support our healthcare clients in a more coordinated and strategic way,” said Jenny Ousbey.
The launch strengthens PRGN’s offer to health care organizations working across a more complex global landscape. The group gives members a more structured way to work together, share insights and support clients across markets. Health expertise across PRGN agencies includes hospitals, pharma, biotech, mental health, hospices, telemedicine, patient advocacy, associations and more.
The group launched by bringing together member agencies from Europe, North America, Asia-Pacific and beyond. It will meet regularly to advance joint cross-border work and deliver programs for clients and patients.
