Robin Carr is a Senior Public Relations Counselor for Landis Communications Inc., bringing more than 30 years of communications experience in a wide range of industries: consumer, fashion, sports, health & wellness, technology (gaming, auto and financial tech), corporate and cause-marketing public relations.
The Bay Area native spent 18 years in the sports industry, including PR stints at the San Francisco Giants baseball team, Nike, and EA Sports. She also worked at Ubisoft, a Paris, France-based interactive entertainment company; and Gap Inc., where she directed PR efforts for (PRODUCT) RED ™ – the limited clothing collection for men and women designed to help eliminate AIDS in Africa.
Robin has lead communications teams at Xoom (acquired by PayPal), Kodak Gallery (later acquired by Shutterfly) and Kaiser Permanente, where she managed national PR coverage for the “Thrive” campaign, social media and strategic partnerships. Robin is a graduate of San Jose State University (B.A. Public Relations). Robin and her husband reside in the North Beach area of San Francisco. She is a “foodie” who loves travel, wine, sports, Broadway shows and comedy clubs.
