Record Number of Agencies Compete in 2026 PRGN Awards

NEW YORK – The Public Relations Global Network (PRGN) announced the winners of its 2026 Best Practice Awards in New York City on Oct. 22, as part of PRGN’s October 2026 Member Meeting in Conference. The conference and the awards gala were attended by more than 80 agency leaders and guests from six continents, celebrating creativity and excellence in Public Relations.

In 2026, 37 member agencies submitted a total of 164 entries, the second highest number of entries in the 15-year history of the PRGN Awards and the highest number of agencies ever participating in the annual contest. Entries were judged by 38 participating agencies – another record – across 22 categories, including advocacy and awareness campaigns, B2B communications, crisis management, digital communications, media and social media campaigns and thought leadership programs, with the top agencies awarded gold, silver, and bronze trophies.

The PRGN 2026 Awards Gala was part of the October 2026 Member Meeting and Conference in New York City, where agency owners and leaders of PRGN member agencies met in person to discuss industry trends, agency growth strategies and service innovation involving AI-based and digital solutions. The conference was hosted by Bill Southard, President and CEO of Southard Communications, PRGN’s member agency in new York City.

Trophies were handed to the winning agencies by Frédéric François, PRGN’s president and managing partner of Two cents, the network’s member agency in Belgium and the Netherlands, together with Nick Leighton, Chair of PRGN’s Knowledge Committee that runs the annual PRGN Awards program and Founder and CEO of NettResults Middle East, PRGN’s member agency in Dubai.

Nick Leighton is Owner and CEO of NettResults Middle East, based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Besides running NettResults, Nick is the author of best-selling book, Exactly Where You Want to Be: A business owners guide to passion, profit and happiness, and an Adjunct Professor at Chapman University in California, where he lectures to graduate and post-graduate classes in strategic communication.“What makes the PRGN Awards so special is that they bring together outstanding communications work from independent agencies around the world, evaluated by experienced industry professionals who understand exactly what it takes to deliver exceptional results,” said Nick Leighton, Chair of the PRGN Awards. “These judges have seen the good, the bad and the beautifully presented. They know the difference between a clever campaign and a genuinely effective one, and they’re not easily impressed by flashy creative or impressive-looking numbers without meaningful results to back them up. That’s what makes winning a PRGN Award such an achievement. It’s recognition from fellow professionals who understand the strategy, creativity, persistence and occasional late-night panic that go into delivering great work. And if you can impress a panel of seasoned PR professionals who spend their careers making other people look good, you really have earned something worth celebrating.”

The most successful agency in the 2026 PRGN Best Practice Awards was Aristo Communications of Istanbul, Türkiye, which earned a total of 10 awards, including one gold, eight silver and one bronze. “In its 15-year history to date the PRGN Awards has become a strong pillar of the network’s knowledge sharing. Year-in, year-out PRGN agencies produce more than 160 case studies for the annual competition that are not only reviewed to select the winners, but help build a tremendous database of public relations and public affairs work from countries all over the world,” said Frédéric François, President of PRGN and managing partner of Two cents in Belgium and the Netherlands. “Agencies winning in the program don’t just win a trophy, but also win the recognition of their peers for delivering quality work and are seen as preferred partners in the next communications assignments that arise within the network.”
