The Public Relations Global Network (PRGN) announced winners of its 2022 Best Practice Awards at an awards gala ceremony held at the Gardens by the Bay in Singapore and attended by more than 30 member agencies from across the globe.
In the 11th year of PRGN’s awards program, 32 member agencies submitted more than 100 entries on client work, agency promotion and campaigns into 23 categories, ensuring that the global best of the bests were awarded golden, silver and bronze awards.
The most successful agency was Perspective Strategies of Malaysia, which collected four gold and three silver awards. Spider from London, UK, won four golden awards and Three Box Strategic Communications from Dallas, Texas, took home three golden awards. The second most successful agency in terms of the number of awards received was Industrie-Contact AG from Hamburg, Germany, which walked away with one gold, two silver and two bronze trophies.
“Every year the PRGN Best Practice Awards celebrate the best campaigns from our global group of PR and communications agencies,” said PRGN Knowledge Committee Chair Shannon Quinn of L.C. Williams & Associates, PRGN’s member agency in Chicago, Illinois, and organizer of the annual best practice contest. “The contest not only recognizes outstanding concept, strategy, execution and results achieved by member agencies, but also offers access to award-winning communications case studies for the roughly 1,000 communications professionals working at PRGN agencies globally. These awards strengthen the network’s ambition to offer access to global brainpower to member agencies as well as clients that choose to work with them.”
PRGN agencies which earned multiple awards are Media Profile from Toronto, Canada, with one gold, one silver and one bronze, Peritus PR of Birmingham, Alabama, with two golds, Roop & Co. from Cleveland, Ohio, with one gold and two bronzes, Cullen Communications from Dublin, Ireland, with two silver and one bronze, Adverum of Vilnius, Lithuania, Currie from Melbourne, Australia, Eje Comunicación of Mexico City, Mexico, and HWB Communications of Cape Town, South Africa, each with one gold and one silver, Free Communication from Bucharest, Romania, with two silvers, and Fearey of Seattle, Washington, L.C. Williams and Associates and S&A Communications from Raleigh Durham, North Carolina, each winning one silver and one bronze award.
The annual best practice contest regularly introduces new categories to measure PRGN agencies’ performance in the newest communications fields, as well as reflect current issues. While the 2020 and 2021 awards included Covid-related communications categories, the 2022 PRGN Best Practice Awards offered agencies to measure their creativity and effectiveness in new areas such as “Advocacy and Awareness Campaigns”, “Small Budget Campaigns”, “Sustainability – ESG – CSR – DEI” and “Thought Leadership and Expert Positioning”.
PRGN member agencies are independent, local, owner-operated public relations and marketing communications firms that share expertise and resources, while providing broad-based comprehensive communications strategies to clients worldwide.
