L.C. Williams & Associates (LCWA) is a full-service PR agency headquartered in Chicago and is seeking a strong Assistant Account Executive or Account Executive with one or more years of experience.
Candidates should have strong media relations and social media communications skills. Must be an excellent writer with the enthusiasm to bring fresh thinking and creativity to accounts. Some agency background preferred.
This position is currently virtual due to the pandemic, but will be based in Chicago at our Michigan Avenue office when in-person work resumes.
- Writing client materials, including press releases, bylined articles and white papers
- Media relations including writing, pitching, interview coordination and monitoring
- Social media planning and content development
- Project and partnership coordination
- Campaign measurement and reporting
- Brainstorm and develop creative solutions to everyday client problems
- BA/BS in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, English, Integrated Marketing or related
- Strong writing and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask
- Media pitching experience
- Social media understanding
- An interest in and ongoing curiosity about news of the day
