NEW YORK-LONDON-BRUSSELS – The Public Relations Global Network (PRGN) and the International Public Relations Association (IPRA) have signed a cooperation agreement involving information exchange and benefits to the organizations and their respective memberships.
According to the cooperation, member agencies of PRGN will be able to enter IPRA’s renowned annual public relations global competition, the Golden World Awards for Excellence (GWA), at reduced group rates and will be regularly receiving IPRA Thought Leadership Essays, the IPRA President’s monthly message and free access to the previous year’s GWA winners’ summaries. IPRA has offered to list PRGN among global public relations organizations on the IPRA website and entrusted PRGN with using the phrase: “Endorsed by IPRA – the International Public Relations Association www.ipra.org” and use the “Endorsed by IPRA” logo on its communication materials. PRGN will regularly distribute IPRA Thought Leadership among its members who will also be updated on the GWA opportunities. Furthermore, PRGN will consider potential speakers from within the IPRA Membership for its own events.
“I am convinced this agreement will help PRGN members with even more access to global knowledge sharing than we already offer and will contribute to PRGN’s constant efforts to build bigger visibility and wider recognition globally. We are thankful for IPRA for making this possible,” said PRGN President Robert Bauer, who is also managing partner of accelent communications in Vienna, Austria.
“We’re happy to sign the agreement with PRGN, a highly respected group of local PR agencies who have partnered together to serve the world. The network of agencies reflects the IPRA approach very well; truly global and international but with respect for local nuances and deep regional insights,” explains IPRA President Philippe Borremans.
The organizations have agreed to review the agreement annually and renew it according to their goals and intentions.
